Itinerary
 
 
Day 1. Fly to Mashad on MahanAir at 21:00
Arriving in Mashad at 22:30, we will be transferred to the hotel. We will have a general view of the city and the holy shrine at night on our way to the hotel. Ovenight

Day 2. In the morning we drive to Toos historical city and visit the tomb and museum of Ferdosi, the famous epic poet and the remainders of Toos fortifications as well as Haroon’s prison. We will then drive to Torghabeh, a countryside town which is famous for its handicrafts, nuts and dried fruits. We will then go to Shandiz for having the famous “Shandiz Shishlik” for lunch. After lunch we return to Mashad for a visit to the huge complex of the holy shrine of Imam Reza, the 8th Shi-ite Imam.
We will have some time for strolling in the traditional bazaars surrounding the holy shrine before we go to the airport for returning back to Tehran on MahanAir at 23:15. Arriving in Tehran at 00:45 (+1), we will be transferred to the hotel
